Aeroplay Entertainment, a leading Content Service Provider (CSP) in the aviation industry, is entering an exciting new chapter.
The company is rebranding under is Passenger Experience Partner vision to deliver more integrated and passenger-centric inflight solutions. This transformation is reflected not only in its services but also in its new, vibrant yet minimalist logo, a visual signal of the “New Aeroplay” and its forward-looking identity.
This shift will come to life with the launch of Nucleus OS, a first-of-its-kind agentic operating system built for inflight entertainment and onboard digital engagement, which will be unveiled at the 2026 Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) in Hamburg, Germany.
Moving beyond static catalogs, Nucleus OS orchestrates personalised experiences in real time, adapting to each passenger, flight context and airline brand.
Powered by specialized AI agents, Nucleus OS automates and optimises critical CSP workflows such as metadata enrichment, artwork and title matching, language/ratings normalisation, content tagging, and packaging rules across different IFE environments.
The result is faster turnaround, fewer manual touchpoints, and richer insight into what passengers watch, search and skip, enabling airlines to evolve programming and engagement with data-led confidence.
The new Aeroplay is anchored on four key pillars:
FAST: A digital-first supply chain that delivers content from studio to seat up to 50% faster than typical industry timelines.
LEAN: Lowering the total cost of inflight entertainment ownership by up to 30% through automation, standardisation and wireless-first delivery models
PERSONAL: Hyper-personalised content curation tailored to routes, regions and individual passenger preferences.
INTELLIGENT: Powered by Nucleus OS, a proactive engagement and operations engine that learns from every interaction and continuously improves the content supply chain and onboard experience.
Commenting on the rebrand, André Valera, CEO of Aeroplay Entertainment, said: “Aeroplay sits at the intersection of content, technology and passenger experience, and that’s exactly where airlines are accelerating. With Nucleus OS, we’re bringing an agentic layer to the IFE ecosystem that can take work off teams’ plates and unlock smarter, more responsive passenger experiences.
“Our focus is measurable outcomes: simplifying content operations, strengthening distribution, and elevating engagement for every audience. Attendees at AIX will be able to experience live demonstrations of Nucleus OS, including agent-driven metadata and packaging workflows, intelligent content discovery, and real-time personalization designed for the realities of the aircraft environment.”
