Insperial, the global surface solutions group trusted by the world’s leading airlines, has today announced the launch of a dedicated Colour, Material and Finish (CMF) service for aviation, the first of its kind for the company.
Building on its extensive portfolio spanning laminates, leather, textiles and exterior liveries, Insperial brings colour, material and finish together into a single, cohesive service. It will enable airlines, private jet operators and the wider industry to align materials and surfaces across the cabin, creating environments that are both visually harmonious and consistent in performance and passenger experience.
The service is designed to support and complement industrial design teams, focusing on selection, integration and application.
At the heart of the new service is Lucie Weber, who joined Insperial as CMF Industrial Designer following last year’s Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX). Weber developed her expertise across both the sports and aviation industries. She began her career at Decathlon, working on running and trail products, before moving to Dassault Aviation. There, she was based at the company’s headquarters in St. Cloud and later spent nearly two years in the US at the Dassault Falcon Jet completion centre in Little Rock, Arkansas.
During this time, she specialised in leather development techniques including stitching, embossing, engraving and perforation while also contributing to the creation of client-facing finish catalogues, covering materials, colours and application areas. Weber’s role also included sourcing and implementing innovative materials, integrating new finishes into showrooms, and continuously refining material performance and assembly within aircraft interiors.

At AIX 2026, Insperial will showcase this new capability through its latest design story, Agoria Legend, presented as part of the company’s broader CMF design catalogue.
Agoria Legend is a design collection within the wider, trends driven Elevate Collection, translating CMF thinking into tangible cabin experiences. Inspired by the Art Deco era, it reinterprets the glamour and geometry of the 1920s through a contemporary lens, combining stylised motifs, sculptural textures and refined material finishes.
Lucie Weber, CMF Industrial Designer at Insperial, said: “At present, we’re seeing the aviation industry looking to create more natural, harmonious moods inside the cabin. We help them identify on-trend colours, refined material palettes and improved finishes, all with the goal of shaping a cohesive design language throughout the aircraft, where materials can work seamlessly together.
“By collaborating closely with our customers, we ensure that every surface, from seat upholstery to wall panels and trims, contributes to a thoughtfully designed cabin experience, where colour, material and finish are considered as one.”
Rich tones, such as Crimson Lacquer are anchored in premium leather, selected for its depth and authenticity. These are complemented by geometric and organic patterns across ADHETEC’s Adheskin FB and Adheskin CT (textured) laminates, alongside Alcantara print technology, which captures intricate surface detail in designs such as Agate Swirl and Fan Palm.
Graphic compositions like Radiant Scales and Veridian Maze bring structure and rhythm, while deeper, more tactile finishes such as Velvet Arcadia and Whirlpool emphasise material richness. Classic 1920s-inspired motifs are brought to life through leather printing techniques, and Insperial’s backlight technology illuminates signature detailing, including refined metallic accents.
The CMF catalogue is structured around three core collections; Organic, Essential and Elevate; each designed to support a wide range of client needs while inspiring new approaches to cabin interiors.
Alexis Gabillon, Group CEO of Insperial, added: “CMF has become a strategic differentiator. Airlines that invest in a thoughtful, harmonious cabin design create a passenger experience that is genuinely felt. We were delighted to welcome Lucie to the team, and within a short space of time, her expertise has enabled us to offer our airline customers something no one else in our industry can. Our dedicated, commercially aware design vision brings together the latest colour and material trends into solutions that are certifiable, scalable and built for aviation.”
