Press Release: Honeywell’s JetWave IFC certified for Falcon 7X

Rotation

RWGPRHubn pressHoneywell (NYSE: HON) is making it easy for Dassault Falcon 7X operators to upgrade their in-flight Wi-Fi technology to Honeywell’s JetWave system. The company’s newest connectivity hardware recently received Federal Aviation Administration certification on the Falcon 7X, ensuring that operators have access to the only global high-speed broadband connectivity solution available today.

Honeywell’s JetWave is the exclusive hardware that connects business jets to Inmarsat’s Global Xpress (GX) Ka-band satellite network, providing Jet ConneX service to the cabin. It will give Falcon 7X passengers, pilots and flight crews on-the-ground speeds and consistent coverage while flying anywhere in the world, even over oceans. Honeywell is helping customers stay entertained and productive around the globe.

Honeywell has tested and confirmed that JetWave can enable consistent high-speed video streaming, web surfing, large file downloads and more using the existing radome on Falcon 7X aircraft. Faster speeds can be achieved when the Ka-radome becomes commercially available. The upgrade to JetWave now only requires a simple installation, and it can be booked at any Honeywell authorized dealer today. Operators can sign up for Jet ConneX plans with their preferred service provider.
