Global travel search site momondo has developed an interesting infographic about taking snowboards/skis on flights. The infographic looks at sports baggage allowances and charges for 17 airlines.

This is the second infographic released by momondo this week; the first looking at inflight Wi-Fi prices on various airlines.

Julie Pederson, head of PR at momondo, says, “The reason why we are developing these infographics now, is because of an ongoing effort to empower travelers in their flight search and offer them information that will help them in their personal travel choices.”

Meanwhile, momondo  has won several awards and is recommended by leading international media organizations such as CNN, The New York Times and The Daily Telegraph. It does not sell tickets directly to travelers. Rather, it finds and compares billions of prices on airplane tickets, hotels and travel deals, displaying them in one user-friendly website. The company is part of the momondo Group, which also owns the Cheapflights travel brand. See the infographic below.
