Following a successful market trial, Eurowings is launching ticket sales for the Premium BIZ Seat alongside the resumption of direct flights to Dubai at the start of the 2026/27 winter schedule and announcing additional routes on which guests can book this comfort upgrade from 1 December 2026.
The Eurowings Premium BIZ Seat is being introduced where the demand for relaxed, premium travel is greatest:
- Mallorca (PMI): The comfort offensive now extends to Germans’ favourite island with daily flights from Dusseldorf and up to four times a week from Berlin.
- Málaga (AGP): Four weekly flights from Dusseldorf to Málaga complete the new comfort offering.
- London Heathrow (LHR): Up to 28 weekly flights from Dusseldorf — including at least one daily service — as well as all weekly flights from Berlin are fully integrated into the new premium standard.
- Dubai (DXB): The Premium BIZ Seat is available on all Eurowings flights to Dubai. These will operate daily from Berlin, four times a week from Stuttgart, and three times a week from Cologne/Bonn,
What guests can expect
In the first two rows of the A320neo, a spacious 2-2 layout with eight exclusive seats replaces the classic 2×3 configuration: the previous 18 seats have been reduced to eight, offering significantly more personal space.
For this new cabin concept, Eurowings has opted for the ‘Comoda’ model from the Italian manufacturer Geven. Guests benefit from increased recline, a wider seat, more legroom, an adjustable leg rest and USB charging ports.

Guests can look forward to catering, a welcome drink, a refresh towel and nuts on all routes. On the medium-haul route to Dubai, this is complemented by a pillow and blanket, a high-quality amenity kit and in-flight dining served on genuine porcelain.
“Comfort and relaxation in the air should never be taken for granted — and we’re making them the new standard for business travelers and leisure guests, ” says Max Kownatzki, CEO of Eurowings.
With the Premium BIZ Seat, we’re among the first airlines in the world to introduce a genuinely comfortable seating experience on short-haul continental flights, including longer medium-haul routes. It’s designed for all guests who want to make flying more comfortable and relaxed. While other airlines are adding more and more seats to their aircraft, we’re giving our guests more of what makes flying easier: Space, privacy and an experience that feels genuinely special. That’s our response as Europe’s leading Value Airline.”

The decision to extend the new seating standard across the entire Airbus A320neo fleet is based directly on the wishes and feedback of Eurowings guests.
Following a successful market trial, which began in November 2025 on the Berlin-Dubai route, the verdict from travellers was clear. The significant increase in personal space and the personalised service concept on board were rated extremely positively. As a result, the Eurowings management team decided to extend the comfort offensive across the entire A320neo fleet for the 2026/27 winter schedule.
Named “Europe’s Best Low-Cost Airline” by Skytrax, Eurowings is making a deliberate investment in quality, comfort and the well-being of its guests. Seat installation is scheduled for November 2026, ensuring the first aircraft with the new premium cabin standard take to the skies from 1 December.
