Being in the position to provide EASA Form 1–certified products is a major milestone for AERQ’s organisational readiness as an aviation player and an important base for being a reliable partner for airlines and MRO companies.

Obtaining this certificate is a prerequisite for aviation suppliers as with it, they can declare their products as airworthy. With its first EASA Form 1 certification, AERQ stated that various of their solutions were approved to be operated in aircraft. AERQ product certifications can be signed with an advanced electronic signature, which enables a clear proof of the validity and immutability of their signature.

The EASA Form 1 is the Authorised Release Certificate that declares the airworthiness of products, parts, and appliances. It states that a product, a part, or a component was manufactured in accordance with approved design data.

This is an important aspect of the airworthiness regulations. The certificate is issued by the holder of a Production Organization Approval (POA), which is managed by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) No 748/2012.
