With a slimline seatback designed for maximum living space, the Falcon incorporates the signature Mirus design philosophy of simplicity and elegance to enhance the appearance and redefine the living space and comfort of the economy cabin.

The team at Mirus has taken a fully integrated industrial design approach to develop the Falcon, meeting the rigorous and diverging demands from ultra-low cost to premium carriers.

Ben McGuire, CEO of Mirus Aircraft Seating, says: “In line with our zero-compromise mentality with regards to the maximisation of passenger living space and comfort, the Falcon has a fully integrated industrial design approach and a sleek, modern look.

“Designed with long-range economy flights in mind, the Falcon is the first of our seats to support in-flight entertainment technology, and has a 15 degree seat recline angle.

The Falcon is testament to our mission to enhance the onboard experience of the economy class passenger at the intersection of the demands of commercial airlines.”

Weighing approximately 11kg per passenger fully dressed and pitched at 29”-32”, the Falcon continues to address the problem faced by many airlines of how to achieve maximum economy cabin densification without compromising passenger comfort.

With an articulated seat pan and a six-way adjustable headrest to further enhance passenger comfort, the Falcon also boasts a lightweight hybrid composite seatback structure, ensuring comfort for the passenger and weight-saving solutions for airlines.

The seat is 13-inch IFE compatible, meaning that Mirus can offer in-flight entertainment solutions to airlines looking enhance the onboard experience of passengers.

As a result of the incorporation of lightweight materials, airlines can make the necessary weight-saving measures to decrease fuel burn and as such decrease their total carbon footprint.

Prospective customers will also have the opportunity to commission bespoke custom finish options to ensure airlines can proudly display their branding in the cabin.

As with all Mirus seats, the unique Mirus Care extended warranty option can be chosen, which dramatically lowers lifetime cost of ownership and means typically airlines can expect to have their investment returned within a few years.

Mirus Aircraft Seating is offering viewings of the Falcon to a select number of airline delegates at the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hall 6, Stand 6A70 at the Hamburg Messe.
