Rotation

Diehl Aerosystems, first tier supplier and partner of major aircraft manufacturers for avionics and integration of aircraft cabins as well as retrofit-specialist for aircraft operators, is exhibiting with a new and stronger presence at the MRO Americas between 25 and 27 April 2017 in Orlando, Florida (USA).

Like at similar events, at MRO Americas, Diehl addresses the customer support and cabin retrofit market segments. The company had been represented at MRO Americas in previous years already, by its subsidiary Diehl Aerospace Inc., which also operates the Customer Support Center (CSC) Americas for North and South America in Sterrett, Alabama (USA). The expanded market presence by Diehl Aerosystems in 2017 now covers the division’s entire product range, including its cabin retrofit offers.

In addition, the CSC Americas for the first time is represented by a new senior management team at this year’s MRO Americas: On April 1, Michael Heuer took over the Center’s management. With nearly 25 years of experience in customer support at Diehl subsidiary AOA, Michael Heuer – who completed his academic training at Pace University in White Plains, New York (USA) – is predestined for this task.

The personnel change also strengthens the future course of Diehl Aerosystems, i.e. to expand its global presence also in the customer support area. Additional products and services are developed for the three global CSCs – also in Toulouse (France) for the EUMEA region and in Singapore for APAC – covering recently introduced or upcoming programs, such as the Boeing 787-10, 777-X, Airbus A350 XWB, Bombardier Global 7000/8000, and Embraer E2.

Diehl Aerosystems is a corporate division of Diehl Stiftung & Co. KG and covers all aerospace activities of the Diehl Group. With its business units Diehl Aerospace (a joint venture with Thales), Diehl Aircabin, Diehl Comfort Modules and AOA, Diehl Aerosystems is a leading systems supplier for avionics and cabin solutions. Diehl Aerosystems currently employs more than 5,400 staff. Amongst its customers are leading aircraft manufacturers (OEMs), such as Airbus (both fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters), Boeing, Bombardier and Embraer, as well as airlines and other operators of commercial and business aircraft.
