RECARO Holding is extending the company’s brand reach by rebranding AAT Composites to RECARO Composites. This significant milestone for the group aligns with the company’s strategic growth in lightweight composite technologies for seating solutions.
Located in Cape Town, South Africa, RECARO Composites brings four decades of technical expertise in design, development, and manufacturing of composite components to the RECARO wheelhouse.
By incorporating the expertise of RECARO Composites, it allows for future growth in the rapidly evolving aviation industry and positions the company as a partner of choice for seating solutions.
This rebrand will also position RECARO Composites for next-generation lightweight solutions for alternative modes of transportation like eVTOLs. This initiative aligns with the missions of the various business units – RECARO Aircraft Seating, RECARO Gaming, and RECARO Rail – under the RECARO Group as a way to accelerate innovation across product portfolios, as composites are known to contribute to improved performance, reduced emissions, and an enhanced passenger experience.
