Air France has opened the doors to its new lounge at Frankfurt International Airport, continuing its move upmarket at this key destination on its European network. The airline now offers customers an elegant space designed as a peaceful retreat, showcasing the refinement of French hospitality before departure or during a connection.
Located in the new Terminal 3 which was inaugurated last April, the lounge reflects Air France’s brand identity and service standards. It is operated in partnership with Global Lounge Network. Open daily from 5:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., it welcomes eligible Air France Business* customers and Flying Blue Elite Plus members, as well as eligible KLM and SkyTeam alliance customers.
Designed by Air France teams in collaboration with the MARKS Brandimage agency, the bright and spacious lounge offers panoramic views of the airport runways. Covering nearly 500 square metres, it features close to 120 seats. The space embodies the airline’s distinctive identity through carefully curated design elements, including the Air France logo, its iconic winged seahorse, the airline’s historic symbol, and a selection of vintage posters celebrating the richness of its heritage.
Air France’s signature colour palette, shades of blue, bright white, and touches of red, creates an atmosphere that is both elegant and soothing. The clean-lined furnishings have been carefully selected to provide optimal comfort while showcasing French design through renowned names such as Pierre Paulin and Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec.

The art of French hospitality
At the heart of the lounge, the dining area offers a welcoming culinary experience centered around traditional French cuisine. Designed as an open space where the kitchen naturally blends into the dining area, it accommodates nearly 50 guests.
The carefully curated menu evolves throughout the day, featuring a selection of sweet and savoury dishes, including vegetarian options. Guests can also enjoy a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including French wines and Champagne, as well as locally brewed beers.
As part of its commitment to sustainability, Air France prioritizes the use of locally sourced, seasonal ingredients in its menus. Particular attention is also paid to reducing food waste and to sorting and recycling waste generated by catering services.

An exclusive area for Flying Blue Ultimate members
Flying Blue Ultimate members enjoy access to a dedicated area reserved exclusively for them. Featuring cocoon-style seating, this private space offers exceptional comfort and tranquility while ensuring easy access to all lounge services.
The hallmarks of Air France lounges
Throughout the lounge, guests can enjoy a wide range of comfortable seating areas to relax, work, or dine. Tucked away from the main areas, a quiet relaxation space invites passengers to unwind. A functional work area equipped with a soundproof booth is also available.
For fast and seamless access, the lounge entrance features automated eligibility kiosks. Guests also have access to TV screens, complimentary Wi-Fi, and numerous power outlets and USB ports conveniently located throughout the lounge. In addition, a selection of French and international digital newspapers and magazines is available via the Air France Press app.
This summer, Air France is operating up to five daily flights between Frankfurt and Paris-Charles de Gaulle, enabling customers to connect seamlessly to the airline’s global network via its Paris hub.
