Lufthansa Systems and Copa Holdings, through their two principal operating subsidiaries, Copa Airlines and AeroRepública, have signed a partnership on the use of Lido FMS and Lido mPilot. Lufthansa Systems’ Lido Pilot Solutions and Lido Data Solutions provide Copa Holdings with the highest quality of complete and customizable aeronautical data and navigation solution, in the most efficient way. Therefore, it enables maximum operational efficiency and safety.
Lido FMS provides airlines with precise in-flight navigation data, which is fundamental to flight safety. By using the onboard flight management system, pilots can always access flight-relevant information and plan their routes accordingly. Lido FMS holds EASA Service Provider Certificate Type 1 (FAA accepted) and is compliant with relevant industry standards such as RTCA DO-200, RTCA DO-201 and ARINC 424.
Providing pilots with all the necessary navigation charts, documents, and messages on their device, Lido mPilot is an all-in-one navigation solution. The Lido charts are generated directly from the certified Lido FMS navigation database and meet the highest standard of precision and quality. The charting standard was developed by navigation experts in collaboration with pilots, licensed dispatchers, and IT specialists. The solution is designed to increase pilots’ situational awareness.
