Press Release hub banner blue with title in red white and blueSmartSky Networks, the innovative air-to-ground (ATG) inflight connectivity provider, today announced Global Aviation Technologies as a sales and installation provider for SmartSky’s advanced shipsets at their Wichita, Kansas location.

SmartSky’s flagship equipment, including aircraft antennas and an Aircraft Base Radio, are available now for more than 4,000 aircraft covered by existing Supplementary Type Certificates (STCs). Together Global Aviation Technologies and SmartSky can provide timely hardware and installation to support the demand for immediate, dependable, and secure connectivity on business aviation aircraft.

Aria Bahawdory, Director of MRO Account Management for SmartSky Networks noted: “Having achieved roughly 80% coverage in 2021 and on our way to full CONUS coverage next quarter, we’re excited to establish new sales and installation partners at every segment of the market and bring our innovative inflight connectivity to the skies.
