Geven Aircraft Seats and Interiors announces the delivery of the first shipset of Essenza and Comoda seats which will outfit S7 Airlines’ Economy Class and Business Class cabins on A320neo family aircraft.
The delivery is part of a larger partnership with S7 Airlines. Started in 2017 with a retrofit program, Geven provided Economy Class seats — Piuma EVO — and Business Class seats — Comoda — on A321 aircraft.
In 2019, the partnership with the prestigious airline company led to an order of 16 linefit shipsets on A320s and A321s.
A total of approximately 3,000 pax of Essenza and 130 pax of Comoda will be delivered in the next few years.

The Economy Class cabin of the A320neo has been equipped with Essenza. Geven’s ergonomic seat has a reclining backrest of up to 5”, which provides comfort on board.
With an integrated In-Seat Power System (USB & AC outlets) by Astronics, Essenza also features a four-way headrest, generous in-arm table with integrated device holder, a coat hook, a new Super Comfort bottom cushion manufactured by Greiner, and a literature and amenity pocket which improve the comfort feeling on board.
A backrest cover featuring grey and black with a green stripe personalizes Essenza onboard S7 Airlines’ A320neo. It is one of the most beautifully covered seats delivered by Geven.
The aircraft’s Premium cabin, based on Comoda, seats eight passengers, offering maximum passenger comfort. Comoda is a passenger-centric seat with a large and reclining 8” composite backrest.
Moreover, the leather central console design features a soft touch 8.6” armcap and does not sacrifice foot and leg space. In addition, the central console integrates the amenity pocket. The adjustable four-way headrest features differential friction on headrest wings for easy adjustment and proper head support.
The Business Class seat of Geven’s family line also features a lateral soft touch 2.8” endbay with in-arm table integrating device holder. The integrated in-seat power system (USB & AC outlets) by Astronics allows comfortable charging of personal devices on board.
Each seat is equipped with a lower literature pocket. The generously dimensioned In-Arm Table is in double-leaf configuration.
Black and purple customized designed cushions characterize the Business Class cabin of S7 Airlines.
