Cairns brings with him many years of aerospace seating experience, covering products in all seating classes, and has a wide-ranging track record of Lean process improvement and performance improvement.
He most recently held positions as Vice President and General Manager at Collins Aerospace based in Tucson, Arizona and Winston Salem, North Carolina. Prior to that, he ran the B/E Aerospace seating facility in Kilkeel, Northern Ireland.

Acro Aircraft Seating is a UK based manufacturer of passenger seats for commercial aircraft. Founded in 2007, the company has designed, certified and manufactured over 150,000 seats for more than 500 aircraft, with installations on Boeing, Airbus, Saab, Fokker and ATR aircraft. The company currently serves more than 45 airlines and leasing company customers throughout the world and has delivered seating programmes for airlines including Air New Zealand, Etihad, Finnair, Spirit Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Viva Colombia, Qingdao Airlines.
