geeEntertainment in Motion (EIM), the largest independent distributor of film and television content to the worldwide airline market, today announced a global licensing agreement with Starz Worldwide Distribution, the global television licensing arm of Starz ,to add its worldwide catalog to EIM’s content portfolio, featuring STARZ Original series including “Power,” “Black Sails,” “Ash vs Evil Dead,” “Survivor’s Remorse,” “Flesh and Bone,” “Spartacus,” and more.  EIM is a subsidiary of Global Eagle Entertainment Inc., (Nasdaq: ENT) (“GEE”) a worldwide provider of aircraft connectivity systems, operations solutions and media content to the travel industry.

The broad-based deal gives EIM access to the Starz Worldwide Distribution catalog comprised of STARZ Original series, made-for-television films, Anchor Bay Entertainment content including TV/movie/fitness content, and anime for distribution to airlines, ships and other non-theatrical markets around the world. Under the agreement, EIM and Starz will also work jointly to cultivate opportunities to promote the STARZ brand on airline in-flight entertainment platforms and other non-theatrical markets.
