With this partnership, Arajet reaffirms its commitment to building a more human, accessible, and inclusive travel experience, where every passenger feels understood, respected, and supported at every stage of their journey.

The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program uses an international symbol known as the Sunflower Lanyard, which allows individuals to discreetly communicate that they may need additional time, support, or understanding during travel processes. By wearing this symbol, Arajet’s team will be trained to provide empathetic assistance, including clear guidance, more flexible timing, and access to quiet spaces when needed.

“At Arajet, we firmly believe that flying should be an accessible experience for everyone, without exception. Our incorporation into Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is a significant step toward more inclusive aviation, where every passenger feels respected and supported. This program allows us to continue advancing our purpose of democratizing the skies, always putting people at the center of everything we do,” said Ivanna Lajara Vp of Culture And HR Management at Arajet.

“Arajet’s initiative is an inspiring step toward more inclusive and conscious aviation. From Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Latin America, we celebrate this genuine commitment to people with non-visible disabilities, promoting empathy, respect, and a better experience for all passengers. We congratulate Arajet for leading with purpose and for being part of this global movement that transforms the way we travel,” said Flávia Cahu Callafange, Regional Director for Latin America, Hidden Disabilities Sunflower.
