Singapore Airlines (SIA) is enhancing its in-flight entertainment experience with next-generation KrisWorld and high-speed connectivity, giving customers more choice, control, and flexibility throughout their journeys.
The new KrisWorld brings together 4K high-resolution touchscreen displays, including OLED screens on selected aircraft and cabin classes, with spatial audio, active noise-cancellation headphones, Bluetooth pairing for personal headphones, a redesigned user interface, a new wellness planner, personalisation features, and more than 2,500 entertainment options.
Together, these features bring movies, television shows, music, and other content to life through sharper visuals and richer, more dimensional sound with greater depth and clarity, while giving customers more control over how they enjoy their time on board.

Mr Yeoh Phee Teik, Senior Vice President Customer Experience, Singapore Airlines, said: “Our customers told us that they wanted more choice and flexibility in how they spend their time on board, as well as entertainment and connectivity that fit more naturally into their journey.
“This guided the development of SIA’s next-generation KrisWorld and connectivity offering, which make it easier to discover and enjoy content, stay in touch with loved ones, and move seamlessly between entertainment and other activities during the flight.”
SIA’s next-generation KrisWorld will be introduced on its 41 retrofitted Airbus A350-900 long-haul and A350-900 ultra-long-range (ULR) aircraft, which will enter service progressively from 2027, as well as on its upcoming Boeing 777-9 aircraft.
High-speed connectivity will complement the KrisWorld experience on Starlink-enabled aircraft, allowing customers to stream content, stay in touch with their loved ones, and continue activities such as social media, gaming, and work. Starlink will be introduced progressively from early 2027 on SIA’s Airbus A380, A350-900 long-haul, and A350-900ULR aircraft.
The enhanced KrisWorld and high-speed connectivity form part of SIA’s elevated end-to-end travel experience, alongside the Airline’s next-generation long-haul cabin products, refreshed dining options, new amenities across all cabin classes, and enhanced on-ground services. The new travel experience will be unveiled in Singapore in November 2026.
A richer, more immersive entertainment experience
At the heart of SIA’s next-generation KrisWorld is a more immersive visual and audio experience.
First Class cabins will feature 32-inch 4K high-resolution touchscreens, while Business Class customers will enjoy displays of up to 22 inches. On the Boeing 777-9s, Premium Economy Class cabins will have 4K high-resolution touchscreens of up to 16 inches, while Economy Class screens will be up to 13 inches. OLED displays will also be available on selected aircraft.
The enhanced displays deliver sharper detail, higher contrast, and improved picture quality, helping customers enjoy movies, television shows, and other content with greater clarity and viewing comfort.
Spatial audio technology adds greater depth, clarity, and presence to the listening experience, creating a more immersive three-dimensional soundscape. As a result, action sequences can feel more dynamic, concerts more atmospheric, and dialogue clearer.
First Class customers will be provided with Bang & Olufsen Bluetooth wireless headphones with active noise cancellation. Business Class and Premium Economy customers will have active noise-cancellation headphones, and Economy Class customers will be offered wired earphones. Customers may also pair their own compatible Bluetooth headphones with KrisWorld, allowing them to enjoy the familiarity of their personal audio devices.

Redesigned user interface
SIA’s next-generation KrisWorld introduces a redesigned interface with clearer menus, larger icons, and improved search and filter functions to help customers find content more quickly and easily.
A new mini-player allows customers to continue watching a video in a smaller window while browsing other content on KrisWorld. Customers will also be able to create shortcuts to preferred media categories. A sidebar will display real-time flight information, such as the time to destination and weather conditions, without interrupting the viewing experience.

For young travelers, Kids’ Mode provides an age-appropriate environment with a curated selection of children’s movies, television shows, and music, presented through a simplified interface.

A world of choice, refreshed every month
Customers may choose from more than 2,500 entertainment options, including the latest Hollywood titles, award-winning international cinema, regional favorites, full-season television box sets, music, and podcasts. This includes content from Apple TV, BBC, CNA, HBO Max, iQIYI, and Paramount+. Real-time news and sports will be available through the BBC News and Sport 24 live television channels.
Refreshed monthly and curated in response to customer feedback and viewing trends, SIA’s entertainment offerings span a wide range of languages and genres, helping customers find content suited to their interests, mood, or travel plans.
Seamless continuity across flights
On the retrofitted A350-900 long-haul, A350-900ULR, and the Boeing 777-9 aircraft, First Class and Business Class customers may save their preferred seat positions for dining, relaxing, and sleeping, and apply them on future flights. First Class customers may also save their personal lighting preferences, allowing them to recreate their desired environment on subsequent journeys.
Customers can log in to KrisWorld with their KrisFlyer account to receive tailored recommendations, resume programs from where they left off on a previous flight, and save favorite titles for future journeys. They can also view connecting flight information, including the gate and terminal, for their onward SIA flights departing from Singapore.

Wellness for every journey
The next-generation KrisWorld includes a new wellness planner, with content that includes sleep and meditation tracks, videos featuring breathing exercises and light in-seat stretches, and articles on healthy living.

It will also offer recommendations on seat positions and lighting in First Class and Business Class, as well as beverage suggestions across cabin classes to support greater comfort on long-haul journeys.
High-speed connectivity
SIA will progressively introduce Starlink’s low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite-based broadband service on its Airbus A380, A350-900 long-haul, and A350-900ULR aircraft from early 2027. Details of the high-speed connectivity plans for other SIA fleets will be shared when they have been confirmed.
Customers traveling in Suites, First Class, and Business Class, as well as PPS Club members and KrisFlyer members traveling in Premium Economy Class and Economy Class, will continue to enjoy SIA’s unlimited complimentary Wi-Fi experience on Starlink-enabled aircraft.
Starlink will enable faster and smoother connectivity from take-off to landing. This will give customers the freedom to use their own devices alongside KrisWorld to stream content, stay in touch, play games, or remain productive during the flight.
Convenient in-seat charging options include USB-C ports on the Boeing 777-9 aircraft and the retrofitted cabins of the A350-900 long-haul and ULR aircraft, as well as wireless charging pads for First Class and Business Class customers. This will enable customers to keep their personal devices charged throughout their journey.
About Singapore Airlines
The Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group’s history dates back to 1947, with the maiden flight of Malayan Airways. The airline was later renamed Malaysian Airways and then Malaysia-Singapore Airlines (MSA). In 1972, MSA split into two airlines, one of which became Singapore Airlines. Initially operating a modest fleet of 10 aircraft serving 22 destinations in 18 countries, SIA has since grown into a world-class international airline group that is firmly committed to the continuous enhancement of the three main pillars of its brand promise: Service Excellence, Product Leadership, and Network Connectivity.
Singapore Airlines is the world’s most awarded airline. In September 2026, SIA was named the World’s Best Airline at the Skytrax World Airline Awards, marking the sixth time it has received the accolade. SIA was again named among Fortune magazine’s list of the 50 Most Admired Companies in the world in 2026. It was one of only two Asian companies in the top 50, the only Singapore-based company on the list, and ranked first among its peers in the airline industry.
