Beginning June 2027, Edelweiss passengers will be able to experience the new cabin interiors on the Airbus A350 on select long-haul flights.
The first destinations served exclusively with the new products include Halifax in Canada, Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar in Tanzania, and Windhoek in Namibia.
These flights are now available for booking. Further aircraft with the new cabins will gradually follow. By the beginning of October 2027, all six Edelweiss Airbus A350s will be equipped.
More comfort and privacy in all travel classes
The completely redesigned cabins combine modern design with high-quality materials, a harmonious color scheme, and state-of-the-art technology.
In Edelweiss Economy, passengers will benefit from approximately three centimeters of more legroom and a greater seat recline.

The new Edelweiss Premium Economy offers noticeably more space with 28 seats in a 2-3-2 configuration and approximately one meter of legroom.
High-quality hard-shell seats allow the seatback to recline without restricting the personal space of passengers situated behind. Enhanced service includes a welcome drink, a wider selection of meals, fine china, complimentary alcoholic beverages, and noise-canceling headphones.

In Edelweiss Business, the 1-2-1 configuration allows all guests direct aisle access. All seats convert fully into a flat bed. Four exclusive Edelweiss Business Suites with closable doors, generous space, and large 32-inch screens offer an exceptional level of privacy.
“With the new cabin, we are strategically expanding our premium offering. Particularly the new Premium Economy offers our guests significantly more space, comfort, and a comprehensively enhanced travel experience. At the same time, we are increasing the number of premium seats from 30 to a total of 60. This allows us to better meet our standards as a premium leisure airline,” says Bernd Bauer, CEO of Edelweiss.

Free Internet above the clouds
A particular highlight is the complimentary high-speed Internet, Lufthansa Group Wi-Fi powered by Starlink.
The fast and stable connection provides an internet experience comparable to what guests are used to at home.
To access the service, passengers simply need their Travel ID or their Miles & More service card number. The digital offerings are complemented by 4K screens, Bluetooth audio, a comprehensive entertainment program, and high-performance USB-C and USB-A ports at every seat. Wireless charging is also available in Edelweiss Premium Economy, Edelweiss Business, and Edelweiss Business Suite.

The first flights with the new cabin interiors will commence in early June 2027. By early October 2027, the entire Edelweiss fleet of six Airbus A350s will have been retrofitted. Flights can be booked now at flyedelweiss.com and through all usual booking channels.
