EL AL Israel Airlines has announced a strategic agreement with Starlink, the world’s leading satellite internet provider, to introduce high-speed inflight internet across its aircraft fleet beginning in 2027. The service will be offered complimentary to customers, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
The partnership marks a significant milestone in EL AL’s ongoing investment in customer experience and digital innovation, placing the airline among a select group of leading global carriers offering next-generation inflight connectivity powered by Starlink’s advanced Low Earth Orbit satellite network.
Starlink’s technology delivers broadband internet with speeds and reliability that support streaming, remote work, messaging, gaming, and other online activities throughout the flight. Unlike traditional inflight connectivity solutions, Starlink enables passengers to enjoy a seamless, at-home internet experience while traveling, including long-haul international routes.
The system is designed to support hundreds of simultaneous users, allowing customers to stay connected to family, colleagues, entertainment, and essential digital services from takeoff to landing.
