At Aircraft Interiors Expo, flyadeal and Safran Cabin signed an agreement to supply galleys and stowages for the airline’s ten Airbus A330neo aircraft which are scheduled for delivery from Summer 2027.
The Airbus A330 fleet will be equipped with customised galleys specifically designed for the Saudi Arabian low-cost airline, ensuring full interchangeability of equipment and parts with flyadeal’s Airbus A320 aircraft, which are already outfitted with Safran Cabin galleys. The Airbus A330s will primarily operate flights between Saudi Arabia and Asia, Europe and Africa.
The galleys will be manufactured at Safran Cabin’s new 18,000-square-meter facility in Rokycany, Czech Republic, established in 2024 to manufacture longe-range products including galleys, lavatories and crew rests.
“We are delighted to have earned flyadeal’s continued trust and are fully committed to supporting the entry into service of their A330neo fleet with best-in-class galleys,” said Jeremy Dorn, Safran Cabin CEO.
“After almost 12 months working behind the scenes on specifications for our new A330s, flyadeal is now embarking on its widebody journey in preparation for entry into service next year. We are delighted to build on the relationship with Safran Cabin with customised widebody galleys that ensure our cabin crew have a spacious working environment,” added Sanjiv Kapoor, Executive Vice President Strategies at Saudia Group and flyadeal Acting Chief Executive Officer.
