Lufthansa Technik has successfully delivered an Airbus ACJ319neo after VIP cabin completion to a private undisclosed customer.
The delivery also marks a significant milestone in VIP aviation connectivity: the aircraft, completed at Lufthansa Technik’s base in Hamburg, is one of the first VIP completions worldwide to be delivered with the Gogo Galileo LEO (Low Earth Orbit) satellite Internet connectivity solution utilizing the Eutelsat OneWeb network.
The bespoke VIP cabin design was produced by Lufthansa Technik’s VIP cabin completion center. It provides the highest comfort for passengers with a very quiet cabin.
Additionally, the humidified and ionised cabin air supports the wellbeing of passengers. The materials used are of the finest quality, using inter alia real marblestone selected by the client. Thanks to its vast experience, Lufthansa Technik incorporated this material, which is not that common in aircraft cabin design. It combines durability and lightness to perfectly suit the owner’s preferences.
“This delivery represents a landmark achievement in our commitment to comfort in the air as well as technological innovation for VIP and Special Aircraft completions,” said Michael von Puttkamer, Senior Vice President VIP & Special Aircraft Services of Lufthansa Technik.
By being one of the first to deliver such a comfortable aircraft equipped with the Gogo Galileo system, “we are setting new benchmarks in onboard connectivity user experience. This pioneering installation demonstrates our ability to integrate cutting-edge technology that transforms the passenger experience.”
The aircraft features an advanced Gogo Galileo system including cabin Wi-Fi installed by Lufthansa Technik, providing very fast and reliable Internet on board.

Unlike traditional systems using far-away geostationary satellites, this system connects to OneWeb’s Low Earth Orbit satellites, which are much closer to the aircraft. Because of this shorter distance, the connection offers higher speed, lower delay, and more stable performance.
Passengers can enjoy smooth video calls, real-time data use, and uninterrupted online services anywhere in the world. The large number of LEO satellites also increases reliability, ensuring continuous connectivity throughout the flight.
