ABC International has reached an important milestone in its expansion strategy with the inauguration of a new manufacturing facility in Lioni, Avellino, centrally located in Campania (Southern Italy).
This opening marks a decisive step in the company’s growth: from being a qualified design partner in the aviation sector, ABC International now expands its role to include manufacturing, thereby strengthening its position within the international aviation supply chain.
The new facility, spanning over 300 square meters, is equipped with innovative machinery and will allow the production of:
- Cabin monuments (movable class divider, partition and fixed divider, stowage, coatroom, galleys, cabinets, lavatory and doghouses)
- Upholstery products (seat covers, cushions, carpets, curtains, antimacassars and decorative elements)
- Placards and external markings
- Small series and customized parts, to support short-term programs by taking advantage of 3D printing technology.
- Cabin products (Life vest rigid box, seat track covers)
- Branding elements
The inauguration represents not only a significant step in the company’s international growth, but also a substantial investment in the region, generating employment and promoting the local economy.
ABC International’s CEO, Rodolfo Baldascino, stated: “With the opening of the new manufacturing facility in Lioni, we are taking a strategic leap: from an internationally recognized design organization, we are also becoming a certified manufacturer. The new production site, designed in accordance with international standards, complies with EASA PART-21G requirements and has initiated the POA (Production Organization Approval) certification process, which is expected to be completed within the coming months.
