As AZAL aims to expand its market presence, transitioning to a solution that enhances growth while enabling greater integration, automation, and optimization was a natural next step. For Lufthansa Systems, this partnership represents a strategic opportunity to solidify its presence in a growing and dynamic market.

“We are really happy to join the club of leading airlines that are using the best available software in the industry, and confident that it will improve our planning capabilities, support in further optimization of the schedule, and increase profitability,” stated Jamil Manizade, Chief Commercial Officer of AZAL.

“At Lufthansa Systems, we envision the future of our NetLine solutions as an integrated ecosystem supporting customer’s business processes with an end-to-end approach. By offering our solutions as Software as a Service (SaaS) in the Global Aviation Cloud, we eliminate the need for installation and maintenance on the client’s premises. Through SaaS, we provide a flexible, cost-effective, and scalable solution that allows our customers to streamline their processes and drive growth,” stated Jan-Peter Gaense, Head of NetLine at Lufthansa Systems.

NetLine/Sched offers a wide range of scheduling tools, from customizable visualization options to flexible scenario management and real-time schedule feasibility checks combined with outstanding performance. It’s designed to help airlines stay agile in an ever-changing market, allowing them to adapt schedules in response to competitor actions or changes in sales and marketing strategies – all while ensuring operational integrity.

Meanwhile, NetLine/Slot manages the entire slot lifecycle, from initial coordination to the day of operation, automating communication with airport coordinators through standard IATA messaging. The system enables real-time slot requests and updates, empowering airlines to respond quickly to changing operational demands.

When used together, NetLine/Sched and NetLine/Slot create a seamless workflow, allowing operational changes to be automatically imported from NetLine/Sched into NetLine/Slot while slot status updates are reflected back to the scheduling system. This integration ensures optimal coordination, maximizing efficiency and minimizing disruptions.
