On 25 April, Lufthansa hosted an exclusive Allegris Preview Press Event in Munich, Germany, where the carrier welcomed journalists on board a new Airbus A350-900 fitted with its new Alegris longhaul cabins in advance of the 1 May launch of revenue service.

In business class, Lufthansa is seeking to disrupt the premium cabin space with a cabin unbundling strategy that gives customers the option to pay extra for certain seat types like those offering a longer bed or more privacy.

Runway Girl Network covered the preview event as a guest of the airline, discovering the business seats that offer compelling extra amenities, including a massive footwell that is perfect for large and tall passengers. Here’s what we learned!
