The implemented CSMI modules include an Interactive Duty Plan (IADP), TripTrade functions as well as BidManagement solutions and provide Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA with the best digital communication between the crew planners and the crew members.

The CMSI modules for NetLine/Crew are designed to support the airline’s digital communication strategy with its crew members by offering independent interaction possibilities for them with the crew planning system. This allows them to actively influence their roster and thus enhance their work-life-balance.

With the IADP-App crew members can easily access the schedules and details of their roster as well as check-in directly to their shift. The TripTrade functions enable crew members to exchange rotations with each other within the legal framework of flight hours and working days. The NetLine/Crew solution optimizes the crew members’ vacation day preferences and plans them accordingly.

“We are pleased to implement further solutions from Lufthansa Systems’ portfolio. Working already with various NetLine and LidoFlight solutions from Lufthansa Systems, we expect the new modules to simplify the digital communication with our crew members, supporting and facilitating their daily work so that we can achieve our ambitious business goals”, said Gary Brogan, VP Crew Optimisation at Norwegian.

“We are very happy to strengthen our relationship with our valued customer, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA. Through this partnership we are able to fortify our position in Scandinavia. Furthermore, we are convinced that our CMSI modules will make the communication with their crew members more efficient and beneficent to business”, said Marco Cesa, CEO of Lufthansa Systems Europe, Middle East and Africa.
