The aerospace group attended the NBAA in Las Vegas, one of the most important trade shows in the field of business aviation, and was pleased to announce a significant major order together with its customer Embraer: NetJets, a provider of business jet travel, has commissioned the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer with 100 Phenom 300E aircraft, a business jet family on which FACC is on board as a long-standing interior partner.

Scoring with performance and strengthening the region

FACC has been a technology partner in the cabin outfitting of the Phenom 300 since the start of the program in 2007, supplying panels for the cockpit, the passenger cabin and the overhead stowage compartments. The recent order for 100 additional Phenom 300E aircraft represents a major step towards further growth in the years to come. Robert Machtlinger, CEO of FACC, is delighted about this encouraging business development: “The Phenom 300E is one of the most successful and best-selling business jets of its class. We have been collaborating with Embraer as an interior partner from the outset of the project, and are particularly proud to be able to make a joint contribution to the success of this particularly fast and environmentally friendly business jet line. For us, this new major order is also a sign that the business jet market is developing as rapidly and positively as predicted.”

Embraer delivered the 500th Phenom 300E model in 2019. Now, a further 100 aircraft are needed on top of the already high production rate – and that within the next six years. The large-scale project will not only bring new business jet fleets into the air, but also create added value for the region. For the production of the Phenom 300E cabins, FACC will be expanding its crew – the company’s know-how and passion for the manufacture of premium interior linings is in high demand. “The components for the Phenom 300E will be manufactured in Austria at our Plant 2 in Ort im Innkreis. Thanks to the increased demand, we will be able to create new jobs, strengthen the region in the long term and work together on innovative solutions. Our passion to give one hundred percent to our customers and to not only meet their requirements, but to exceed them, is what we live by every day. And you can feel that in the end product,” says Machtlinger.

Every Phenom 300E interior is unique and not only requires years of expertise, but also the highest precision. Using exclusive materials is key, particularly in this market segment. FACC can draw on more than 15 years of expertise in the field of business jet interiors, and stands out on account of the high-quality work of its Austrian specialists. With numerous cabin modifications, innovative designs and the integration of the latest technologies, the in-house teams of engineers, designers, master craftsmen and interior designers are able to make all customer wishes come true – regardless of how exclusive they are.

The business aircraft in the light jet class offers an entirely new flight experience for 6 to 8 passengers and its crew. It therefore comes as no surprise that it is one of the most popular aircraft in the fleet of the private jet provider NetJets. Distances of up to 3,650 kilometers can be covered at a speed of 835 kilometers per hour – and as environmentally friendly as possible: the Phenom 300E consumes around 19 per cent less fuel than competing models.

The cooperation with Embraer has been successfully expanded over the years and extends far beyond the present program. Meanwhile, FACC is also collaborating as a technology partner to Embraer on the Phenom 100 and Praetor 500/600 business jet families and the E-Jets E2 regional aircraft family. With this major order, FACC is continuing its close partnership with Embraer, expanding its strong position in the business jet segment and allowing business travelers to enjoy relaxed moments – in the aircraft of their dreams. In line with its corporate motto, FACC strives to look “beyond horizons” at all times, creating elegant cabin interiors with a perfect blend of aesthetics, comfort and functionality, thus raising the well-being of passengers to the ultimate level.
